Who we are

What we collect
- Enquiries. When you use our enquiry form, email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive the details you send, such as your name, email, phone number, dates and message.
- Guest ID for building security. Before check-in we ask for a copy of each guest's passport or NID, because our buildings' security requires it.
- Website statistics. We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they view. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser. It does not tell us who you are.
How we use it
We use your details only to answer your questions, arrange your stay, meet building security requirements and improve this website. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
- Airbnb, if you book through Airbnb. Airbnb's own privacy policy applies to bookings made there.
- Building management and security, who receive guest ID copies.
- Service providers that run this website and our messages: GoDaddy (website hosting and email), Google (Analytics and Gmail) and WhatsApp (Meta).
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and guest ID copies only as long as needed for your stay and our records, and delete ID copies when they are no longer needed.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing hello@bnbdhaka.com. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out browser add-on for Google Analytics.
Availability calendar
The availability shown on each home page comes from our Airbnb calendars and shows only booked dates. It contains no guest information.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
